A conference, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, to address the overarching need for effective agents that can prevent/reduce HIV transmission worldwide through antimicrobial action. 

This logo symbolizes the hope that such a treatment might bring to women and children, who continue to bear the disproportionate burden of the HIV epidemic around the world.

The conference identity was extremely popular with organizers and attendees, and used in all of the related conference materials—flyers, brochures, registration pamphlets and forms, programs, collected abstracts, tote bags, and buttons.
